This case has received a judicial epilogue in the Swedish state and represents the first precedent the Swedish state has managed to sequencing wealth outside its territorial jurisdiction, the report said.

The Office for the Return of Assets, which operates under the Office of the Chief State Prosecutor, together with Swedish authorities, will take steps to comment on the final execution of properties confiscated in Kosovo with the Swedish authorities’ almighty decision.

This case sets a good example of international judicial co-operation, especially in confiscating assets acquired by criminal acts wherever they are located.

The State Prosecutor’s Institute remains committed to deepening co-operation with partner countries in fighting all forms of criminality with international elements.
