The experience of Albanians in the United States is continuing with institutional-level meetings in the state of Texas, where under program I VLP is becoming closely acquainted with the functioning of American institutions in the areas of security, economy, finance and public administration.

After weeks of intense across the Atlantic, during which they have forwarded political developments to the US, met with representatives of both political sides and have closely experienced American democracy in the electoral atmosphere, Albanian participants have launched a new chapter of the programme in Texas.

During their stay in this country, they are holding meetings with a number of important American institutions and organisations, including the Texas Stock Exchange Stock Exchange Stock Patrol (U.S. Border Patrol and Task-Force for National Security.

Their agenda includes meetings with McKinney’s Economic Development Corporation, the Youth Commission, the Federal Reserve Bank, the Energy Council, the Fort Worth Chamber and the Dallas District Attorney’s Office.

Through these visits, Albanian participants are able to get acquainted with American practices in border security, economic development, the financial system, energy and the functioning of justice institutions, Olgraph writes.

Program I The VLP (International Visitors Leadeship Program), supported by the US State Department, is an opportunity to exchange professional experiences, create contacts and develop co-operation among participants from different parts of the world.

Albanian representatives are thus continuing their experience in the US, with the goal that knowledge and practices gained during this programme also serve the development of institutions and professional co-operation after returning to the country./Telegraphy/
