SProsecutors in Presevo, Bujanoc and Medvedja today turn to ballot boxes for the election of members of the Albanian National Council.
In these elections, 37.759 Albanians registered in the Special Election List are eligible to vote, while four lists with a total of 107 candidates are in the race, aiming to secure one of the 29 seats in the institution.
The Albanian National Council is the representative institution that exercises competencies in the fields of education, culture, information and official use of Albanian language and writing.
The return from 15 to 29 members comes after 2022 census, after more than a decade of more limited composition.
