A 47-year-old Indian tourist lost his life and two other people were injured after two helicopters crashed into each other during an attempt to sit near Mount Everest, in Nepal.
The accident occurred in the village of Fericé, in the Solukretu district, at an altitude of about 4,200 feet [4,200 m] above sea level. The area serves as an important vacation point for climbers and tourists traveling towards Everest.

According to local authorities, the victim was a 47-year-old Indian national. Meanwhile, the two injured are a tourist from New Zealand and one of the helicopter’s Nepale pilots.
The tourist from New Zealand flew to Katmandu capital to get the necessary medical treatment, while the pilot received the first aid at the scene.
The images published on social networks show the moment of the crash of two helicopters near a group of people in the area.
The exact number of people aboard two flying machines still unknown, which were transporting climbers. Authorities have launched investigations to whiteen the circumstances of the accident.
Helicopters are used extensively in the Himalayan region for the transport of tourists, climbers and supplies, as well as for search-for operations. However, high altitude, hard terrain, and unpredictable weather conditions make this area especially dangerous to flights.
