Russian President Vladimir Putin is in panic as he predicts a change in the composition of the American Congress.
According to Democrat Congressman George Whiteside, he and President Donald Trump are trying to force Ukraine to make unfavourable concessions before the newly elected Congress begins its work in January.

He expressed this in an opinionist article about ʹThe HillMonday, reports UcrynformHe’s following in on Telegrafie.
According to Congressman Trump and Putin, they understand that the results of the mid-November 3rd elections could remove the White House’s actual impact on Ukraine policy.
Knowing that their political influence is going to end, Trump and Putin are rushing to force Ukraine to accept a bad deal before a new, pro-Ukraine Congress arrives, which can stop them, says Whiteside.
He links increased pressure on Kiev with Moscow’s desire to protect its energy infrastructure from long-range Ukrainian attacks.
Whiteside recalls that on October 9th, Trump reached an agreement with Putin to return to the American and global market Russian fuel (Naft) that was under sanctions, simultaneously demanding that Ukraine halt attacks on Russian oil refinerys.
According to him, this testifies to the effectiveness of Ukraine’s campaign against the Russian oil processing industry and the problems it has caused the Kremlin.
Poutin is unable to stop drones with his air defense systems that have even reached Moscow. Thus, he has hired the American president to serve as a shield for the Russian energy sector, providing the Kremlin unilaterally, a new source of revenue in the middle of war, the congresswoman said.
According to Whiteside, the administration has moved from threats to concrete actions: it has failed to warn Ukraine of Russian ballistic missiles and has urged the Pentagon to impose speed limits on satellite military communications terminals {Starschild.
The Congressman also cites attempts to pressure European countries to spend billions of dollars from Russian assets frozen under Washington’s control another form of pressure, allegedly serving to resume peace negotiations.
He believes that a coalition victory of Democrats in the House of Representatives elections — much more in both chambers of Congress — can change the situation.
The new legislature would have the opportunity to exchange intelligence information with Ukraine by law, ensure permanent access to the Starschild, approve multi-year military assistance and preserve the frozen Russian sovereign assets.
The Congressman also stressed that a group of senators from both parties, including Republicans Mitch McConnell and John Cornyn, are already urging Trump to cancel the deal involving Russian diesel fuel.
Whiteside links the Kremlin’s haste to Russia’s economic problems, including high interest rates and a serious lack of labour force.
According to him, Putin wants to weaken Ukraine before the US election results limit Trump’s ability to influence the situation.
However, the Christians will not sacrifice their survival just to save Trump and Putin from their respective political agendas, the Congressman stressed.
He urged Kiev and its European allies to stand firm by the end of the year, continue to oppose Russian aggression and prevent the unblocking of Russian assets.
The presidential election for the US Congress will end on Tuesday, November 3rd.
Americans will elect all 435 members of the House of Representatives and 35 senators, as well as governors in a series of states. /Telegraphy/
