The chairman of the Parliamentary Investigative Commission for Action and Institutional Disactions in the case of the murder of Arlinda Zekiaj, Burim Ramadani, has interrupted today’s meeting after the Vetevendosje Movement rejected the involvement of the Prime Minister’s Office on the list of institutions that would require documents and evidence.
Ramadani has indicated that, despite the five-minute pause he had given in the hope that VV representatives would change the stance, they continued to oppose the involvement of the Prime Minister’s Office in the process.

Through a Facebook post, he said that in the face of this blockade, it made no sense for the meeting to continue.
Today, during the Investigative Commission meeting, the VV was sustained against the involvement of the Prime Minister’s Office ( ZKM as one of the addresses where the Commission would require documents and evidence. So the VV did not allow the prime minister’s office to be included in the list of institutions from which the Commission would require documents and evidence. When I realized the blockade, I gave them five minutes of pause in hopes that they would change their attitude, but that did not happen. After the pause, despite all the stable arguments that ZKM should be included as an institution where the Investigative Commission is looking for documents and evidence, the VV remained unequipped against. For that reason, I stopped the meeting. In the face of this blockade, there was no point in continuing the meeting. The next meeting will be held Monday. I urge Vetevendosje Movement to reflect and not block, Ramadan has written.
