Barcelona is not stopping in planning for the future, despite having spent just a few weeks ending its passing summer deadline. Following numerous reinforcements and the renovation of the Raphael contract, Catalon leaders have started working to ensure the future of three other footballers.
According to the Spanish newspaper kli Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona aims to finalise the renovations of Marc Bernal, Brian Farinas and Gerard Martin.

Initially, the club has reached full agreement with Marc Bernal. The Spanish midfielder, who had signed the contract by 2029, is expected to extend his stay to ʹCamp Nouʹ until 2031. Even in spite of Rodri’s arrival, Bernal continues to be an important part of Coach Hansie Flick’s plans. The official renovation ceremony is expected to be held after the end of the international holiday.
Next, Brian Farinas, who stayed at Barcelona during the passing summer deadline with Flickus himself. His current contract ends in 2028, while the new agreement is expected to hold it at the club by 2031.
The third operation on the list of catalyna directors is the renovation of Gerard Martin. The defender had signed the last contract in January 2025, with validity until 2028, but his focus on the team has increased significantly since then.
Martin has become one of Flickut’s top titles, forming partnerships in the centre of defence with Pau Cubbars.
Meanwhile, Barcelona recently secured the continuation of Raphael, who signed a new contract by 2030.
So, after a very busy summer in merkato, the Catalonians are focusing on preserving the core of the team and securing players considered part of the club’s long-term project.
