The Foundation Court in Pristina, through the Special Department, has appointed a month-long detention for Milot Preteni, Ilir Haziri and Flamur Ziber, suspected of cheating through call centres and false investment platforms.
The signal newspaper reported exclusively on international action and published the identities of the three detainees. They were arrested on November 3rd, following raids on five locations in Pristina, Fushe Kosovo and Ferizaj. (sinjali.com, signal. com)
After the hearing, the trial of the preliminary procedure approved the Special Prosecutor’s request. Preteni, Haziri, and Ziber are suspected of participating in or organizing an organized criminal group, fraud, unauthorized cyber access, and computer fraud.
The court took into account the risk of running away, of influence on witnesses and evidence, and of repeating or performing other criminal acts. She estimated that the softest measures were insufficient to address these risks in this phase of the procedure.
