According to the Government’s announcement, Kurti expressed gratitude for Switzerland’s continued support for Kosovo’s development and democratisation, as well as thanked him for extending Swiss mandate and increasing the number of soldiers within KFOR.
Over the strong foundations of our relationship to Switzerland, which were set by the Swiss exiles and Swiss hospitality in times difficult for Kosovo Albanians, we are building and advancing relations like Republikaʹ, Kurti said.
The meeting also discussed economic co-operation, integration processes and Switzerland’s role in them, as well as Kosovo’s representation of the OSCE.
Meanwhile, Casis invited Kurti to the 10th European Political Community Summit, to be held in Cyril in April next year. Kurti, on the other hand, invited him to visit the Kosovo House in Davos in January.
