U nThe FC has been forced to change the main duel of the November 7th event in Las Vegas’s Apex after Sean Brady has withdrawn because of a injury, cancelling the planned main confrontation of Gabriel Bonfim in the weight category of 77kg (Wellterway).

Instead of this confrontation, the organisation has decided that the evening will be led by a duel in the heavyweight category, where Waldo Cortes -Acosta’s facing Johnny Walker.

Cortes-Acosta ranks sixth, while Walker ranks 12th in the division to 120kg.

For Waldo Cortes-Acosta, this will be the third war this year, while the first as protagonist of a major UFC event. On the other hand, Brazilian Johnny Walker aims to continue the positive series on heavy weights, following his victory with knockout in the first round against Mick Park in his last war that took place just a month ago, on October 3rd in UFC32.

Sean Brady’s injury and attraction is a blow to the initial program of the event, as confronting Gabriel Bonfim was considered an important opportunity for both fighters in the race to approach the top of the Welterweight Division.
