Kurti disclosed that since the beginning of 2025, the Gjakova Employment Office has implemented 340 intermediaries in regular employment and 116 through active labour market measures.

He also praised the proximity of the new facility with the Centre for Professional Training in Gjakova, which provides training and certificates on 11 different professional programmes.

On the other hand, Labour, Family and Freedom War Values Minister Andy Hoti said the goal is to transform the Employment Agency from an administrative institution to a more active agency in service of citizens.

He stressed that consultations, individual plans for unemployed persons and orientation towards training, professional training, practices and employment mediation will be offered at the employment offices.

Hoti added that, in addition to modernising infrastructure, particular importance also has increased human capacities and digitisation of Employment Agency services.
