Justice Minister Donika Grovalla has indicated that under the October Rose campaign, the month of breast cancer awareness, the implementation of women’s mammography at the Lipjan correcting Centre has been provided.

Gervala announced that this initiative has been implemented in co-operation with Health Minister Arben Vitita as she added that each woman should have access to health care, regardless of the circumstances in which it is located, highlighting the responsibility of institutions to ensure that right.

No circumstance diminishes a woman’s right to health, dignity, and life. This right has to be guaranteed for every woman, without exception, and powerfully protected by institutions with full responsibility, Gervala wrote.

Among other things, Gervala urged women not to postpone medical examinations, stressing the importance of early discovery of breast cancer.
