Veliaj urges the minister of justice, the ombudsman and the Albanian Helsinki Committee to intervene urgently, verify the reasons and causes of this transfer, which according to him is political, writes A2, Klankosova.tv.

 REAGAME

Today, a group of prison police employees, sent by the Directorate General of Prisons, have appeared at IEVP Durres to transfer me to the Fieri prison.

Despite repeated requests, both from me and my lawyer, to get acquainted with the act of ordering the transfer and reasons that justify it, we have been denied making this document available.

A forced transfer, without making known to me the act and legal reasons upon which it is based, constitutes a police kidnapping for me and seriously violates my rights.

I have not consented to this transfer and rejected the way it is being accomplished, without transparency and without allowing me effective exercise of my legal rights.

I publicly ask the Minister of Justice, Ombudsman and the Albanian Helsinki Committee to intervene urgently, verify the reasons and causes of this political transfer.
