Kosovo President Justina Shiroka Pula has received a message of congratulations from the King of the United Kingdom, Charles III, on her choice in the task.

In his message, King Charles III, along with his wife, has conveyed to the President the most sincere congratulations, highlighting the close and lasting friendship between the United Kingdom and Kosovo.

He has stressed that relations between the two countries rely on common values and have been strengthened over the years through partnership.

King Charles III has also recalled his first visit to Kosovo in 1999, shortly after the end of the war, as well as his wife’s visit to Prizren when she had visited an exhibition of the deeds of President Shiroka Pula’s late father.

In the message of hunger, he has stressed the importance of continuing co-operation between Kosovo and the United Kingdom in supporting security and stability in Europe, at a time when the world is facing significant geopolitical and climate challenges.

Likewise, King Charles III has expressed the desire that President Shiroka Pula’s mandate further deepens relations between the two countries.
