The news has revealed to Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti through a Facebook post, announcing KSF equipment with new vehicles that will serve for transport and logistical support.
According to Kurt, the 12 new trucks U ndo NIMOG has been added to the fleet of 15 Rheinmetall trucks, while days ago, eight more KX 8%8 trucks, purchased by Rheinmetall Company. With these lines, the number of trucks in these two categories reaches 35 vehicles.
Ten more Unimog and Rheinmetall trucks were bought and will come in 2027, Kurti wrote.
He stressed that trucks. U n NIMOG 5T are suitable for movement in difficult terrain, including unexaltated roads and mountainous areas, while Rheinmetal trucks with configuration 858 increase transport capacity and strengthen the logistical support of KSF.
Kurti has noted that modernising a military force is not limited to weapons and combat equipment, but it also includes capacity for efficient movement, supply, and operation.
These investments are part of our commitment to strengthening the defence capacities of the Republic of Kosovo, in line with NATO standards and with the aim of ensuring the security of the country and all our citizens, he has written.

The minister has stressed that investments in equipment, infrastructure and human capacities will continue, with the aim of building a professional, modern and interactive force with partners, in the service of Kosovo security and its citizens.
Under staff expansion, Kurti has also announced that 515 new KSF recruits have been sworn in last Friday, while early this week they have started training another 209 recruits.
