Kosovo police, in co-operation with the Special Prosecutor, have arrested two persons suspected of war crimes against the civilian population, under the investigation into the case known as the Istog municipality’s non-Sacra.
According to the Special Police and Prosecutor’s Joint Community, the arrests were conducted today, on October 29, 2026, after a long period of investigation into the 26 March 1999.
The operation was conducted by the Directorate for Investigation of War Crimes, Under Special Prosecution and in co-ordination with the prosecutor responsible for the case.
As a result of operations on the ground, suspects with initials Mr.B. and G.B. They have been located and arrested in the villages of Osojan and Cerkoles of the municipality of Istog.
