Protests continue in Tirana, students, opposition in the square for Rama’s resignation

Students are again in protest today, at 2: 00 a.m., in front of the Ministry of Education in Tirana.

After more than 150 days of protest and resistance, the student movement has decided to intensify its action, moving to a new organisation strategy with two national protests a week.

According to the announcement published by organisers, the protests will take place every Wednesday and Saturday at the same hour, 2:00.

This decision aims to keep student mobilization alive and increase pressure on the government to meet their demands. At the heart of the student’s stance, there is the demand for Prime Minister Edi Rama’s resignation.

In support of the student protest, the prime minister is expected to hold her rally, as well as the opposition, turning today into another moment of political confrontation and protest against the government. / A2 CNN
