Minister for Communities and Kthim, Nenad Rassic, has declared that the Kosovo government is more willing to establish the Association of Serb majority municipalities after winning the Student List in Serbia’s elections.
In one Journal Express interviewRassic has spoken of the possibility of advancing the Association process, at a time when the victory of the Student List has opened discussions on a new approach to reports between Kosovo and Serbia.

Shiqo, it’s a duty like any point inside the deals and it can’t disappear, they’re on the table and it’s only up to us when we’re going to act in that direction. I consider that the Government of Kosovo, where I am part of it, I believe it is more ready now, at some point almost revolutionary or historical point, where maybe relations between Kosovo and Serbia can reach a slightly different level. According to me, this is the moment when all of us have to contribute and be armed with patience, tolerance and co-operation, Rassic said.
Rassic has also cited the possibility that the issue of Kosovo’s recognition is not an immediate priority, but to be temporarily put aside so that there is room for the development of other processes.
He has spoken of a new possibility in reports between the two countries following political changes in Serbia.
