A 40-year-old was detained by Kosovo Police in Ferizaj after allegedly causing a car accident with material damage and had left the scene.
The case occurred on November 7th 2026, around 21:40, when police units stopped a BMW-type car with local license plates.
According to police information, while verifying and controlling the driver, identified with the initials A.J., 40, a firearm has been found for which he had permission.
Despite this, following relevant procedures, police have seized weapons and ten bullets.
On the date 07.11.2026, about 21:40, the police station’s reaction unit in Ferizaj has banned a BMW-type car with local license plates suspected of causing a material damage accident and leaving the scene, the police report said.
With the State Attorney’s permission, cases have been initiated for the 40-year-old criminal work, possession, control or unauthorized possession of weapons.
After the police proceedings were completed, the suspect has been released in regular investigative procedure.
