Democratic League of Kosovo MP Jehona Lushaku-Sadriu has criticised the lack of institutional responsibility following the assassination of Arlinda Zekiaj in Pec.
It has questioned the fact that, after such a serious case, there has been no resignation from responsible officials.

Lushaku-Sadriu has said that in Kosovo’s institutional system, public office is being valued more than human life.
A woman’s life does not weigh enough to resign. Resignment and office are worth more to our system than a human life, she has declared.
The LDK MP has called for a change in this approach, stressing that responsibility also relates to the personal integrity of those who hold high institutional positions.
This relationship has to change, because first it’s about the personal integrity of people who are powerful, then when people die in your system, in the hand of the system you are leading, in the hand of a system you’ve taken credit to in the North and across, you don’t quit at the end, said Lushaku-Sadriu at the Kran Kosovaw’s Infoazine.
