Dukagjin Lekaj, also known as Dukagjin Nicolaj, has been declared innocent of the attempted crime, while acknowledging the guilt for criminal acts of ownership, control or unauthorized possession of weapons.
This statement has been made by Lekaj today, on November 6, 2026, during the initial session held at the Foundation Court in Pristina, the Signal newspaper reports.
Lekaj is facing charges by the Basic Prosecutor in Pristina over the serious event on August 4th, 2023 at the localbon Vivant ‘%s’, where one person was left dead from shooting a gun.
According to the indictment filed on October 29, 2026, Dukagjin Lekaj is accused of trying to deprive Andy Pajazit of his life, known as the Italian.
What does the indictment say?
According to the prosecution, on August 4, 2023, about 23:10, Lekay was at the local éBon Vivantı, along with the already late K.R., when Andy Pajaziti had arrived.
The indictment claims that after seeing Pajazit, Lekay had taken his gun bag and invited him to the table.
After Pajaziti had not responded to the invitation, according to the prosecution, Lekaj had gone and taken him to his desk, where he had then started a conversation that had turned into a tense situation.
At one point, according to the indictment, Hisni Gecaj had stepped in to calm the situation, holding Lekat’s right hand, and K.R. He allegedly hit Pajazit from behind with a bottle.
The prosecution claims that Lekay had pulled his gun out of his bag and directed it toward Pajazit, but Gicaj had held his hand, hindering his action.
On the other hand, according to the indictment, after Pajazit had left the bar, Lekaj had followed him in order to deprive him of life but had failed to carry out his goal after Pajaziti had left.
For these actions, the prosecution charges Lekaj with serious attempted murder by Article 173, paragraph 1, subparagraph 1.5, concerning Article 28 of the Republic of Kosovo Criminal Code.
He is also accused of illegal weapons, a work for which he has pleaded guilty during today’s hearing.
Spanish Arrest and Random History
Dukagjin Lekaj had been arrested in Spain in April 2025, after searching by Kosovo authorities over the case of Bon Vivantão.
In connection with the same event, a court case had earlier been held against Andy Pajazit, who had been acquitted of murder in a state of severe mental shock while sentenced to two years in detention for illegal weapons.
This decision was confirmed by the Court of Appeals.
