Student Council of Medicine Faculty Chairman Besfort Racaj has reacted to Prime Minister Albin Kurti, following his statement that the brain is returning to Kosovo and that doctors’ migration is not happening.
Through a Facebook text, Racaj has criticised Kurt, saying he appeared before hundreds of young doctors and medical students but did not speak of their demands or the reality they face.

Exactly today, the prime minister who hesitated to meet us suddenly appeared before hundreds of young doctors and medical students. Not to tell us what the Government is doing for our demands, but to declare that by their rule the brain is ruling KT H BEEACE in Kosovo and that the medics’ migration is not happening, Racaj wrote.
He has said the prime minister has chosen the wrong public to deny, according to him, the reality of leaving doctors from Kosovo.
Racaj has stressed that many of the students present in the hall have started or plan to enroll in German language courses, while mentioning that during the 1920s,2026, over 650 doctors have withdrawn documentation from the Oda of Kosovo Doctors to seek employment abroad.
I argue escape. Prime Minister, can you argue the return? We don’t need statements that deny reality. We need actions that change it!
Meanwhile, students at the Faculty of Medicine are expected to appear at the Ministry of Health on 13 November, where they will meet with Minister Arben Vitita. They had called for a meeting with Prime Minister Kurti for November 7th, but, according to Radaj, their request had not been answered.
On the other hand, Kurti, during his speech, has declared that during only 2025, a total of 171 doctors have returned to live and work in Kosovo.
