For the sixth day in a row, but protests in Pristina following the murder of Arlinda Zekiaj.

The protest has been called by the Council for Religious Thought and Action, with a request for justice for murdered women and security for women who continue to face violence.

Protesters have gathered at Zahir Pajaziti Square, where they have repeated calls against violence against women and institutions that, according to them, I am not reaching

 Justice for murdered women, security for live women, and the perpetrators of women in prison, were some of the calls heard during today’s protest.

In the hands, protesters have also carried live messages to institutions, such as around the patriarchal system, with Arlinda finished, and her eyes will follow you, her tears will burn you!

These protests are a continuation of civic mobilization that began after the assassination of Arlinda Zekaj on 25 October in Vitomirica in Pec.

Since then, protesters have walked the streets every day, demanding accountability for the way institutions handle domestic violence cases and denouncing women seeking protection.
