Democratic League of Kosovo MP ( The LDK), Hykmete Bajrami, has criticised the draft budget for 2027, saying the nominal growth of the budget and Bruto Product ( The BPV does not reflect the real economic situation of citizens.
Through a post, Bajrami has stressed that from 2021 to today prices have increased by about 34 percent, arguing that despite increased income in euros, citizens’ purchasing power has diminished.

The growth of the budget and the local Bruto Product in nominal terms do not tell economic reality. Today, we can get more money, but we buy far less than in 2021. The increase in figures on paper does not necessarily mean increased citizens’ welfare, Bajrami wrote.
It has linked the lack of economic prosperity to migration, claiming that some 250 thousand citizens have released Kosovo since 2021.
The campaign, as if it were well-being, had not left the country with about 250 thousand citizens from 2021, the LDK MP has declared.
Its reaction comes after the Government of Kosovo approved the Project for 2027, worth 4.27 billion euros.
During the presentation of the draft budget, Finance Minister Iron Murati has indicated that economic growth for 2027 is estimated to be 4.2 percent, while budget revenues for the first time are expected to exceed the value of four billion euros. /Telegraphy/
