US President Donald Trump has accused Iran of trying to raise oil prices before the mid-term US elections, which are scheduled for 3 November.
In a post on the Social Truth Social Network, Trump claimed Tehran is organising false attacks and setting mines to influence the oil market. He also stated that, currently, through the Strait of Hormuz, more oil is going through than before the start of the conflict.

The White House head also criticised the Iranian leadership for treating protesters, claiming that 75 thousand people have lost their lives in less than seven months. He gave no further details about this figure.
Trump named Iran’s regime as a Bitatanik and reiterated his stance that Iran should not be equipped with nuclear weapons.
Iran can never have nuclear weapons and never have nuclear weapons!
Trump’s statements come in a period of high tensions between Washington and Tehran, where the Iranian nuclear programme, regional security and oil supply remain key issues of confrontation between the two countries.
