The fourth season of the French series “Lupin” with protagonist Omar Sy became the world’s most watched Netflix one day after his publication.
The eight new episodes arrived in Netflix on October 23rd, three years after the third episode. According to FlxPatrol, a website that tracks Netflix lists, Lupin was the world-wide serial number one on October 24th, ahead of the Nobody Wonts Thisé and evowlow.

He is the first in France, Germany, Italy, Brazil and Serbia, while no one wants that.
Happy Critics, Frustrated Viewers
The fourth part currently has a 100 per cent positive assessment from critics at Rotten Tomatones, but it is based on only five estimates. According to SreenRant, the first three sections of the series receive an average of 98 per cent assessment from critics.
Collider gave the new season 8/10 and estimated that it preserves the quality of previous parts, and that the action is even better. Portal But Why Thong gave a 9/10 assessment saying it was worth the three-year wait.
However, early public assessments at Rotten Tomatones are largely negative. Viewers have criticised unrealistic scenes and excessive technology, and some have said the season lacks the wisdom of previous episodes. The public assessment has not yet been published because fewer than 50 people have voted.
Assane on the run again
According to Netflix description, the action starts four years after the third part. Assane is in prison and museums are being robbed under the name Lupine, so he must flee to prove his innocence.
Together with Omar Sy, Ludwine Sagnier, Antoine Gouy, Soufian Guerrab and Shirine Boutella return, and Theo Christine and Laika Blanc-Francard are also in formation.
