The offensive Greek midfielder is being recovered from a ankle injury he suffered on October 17th in the match against Union Berlin, which ended without goals.

Karetsas, one of Dortmund’s major reinforcements this season, has started training in part with the rest of the team.

For the first time today, he’s trained with the team. The plan is, if everything goes well Friday, to train again with the team and then decide if it is ready to travel to Munich, Kovac said Thursday.

The Greek football player had returned to the field after an episode in September, when he was down due to blood flow problems, according to the club’s announcement.

Borussia Dortmund comes to this confrontation after winning three to two against Werder Bremen on Tuesday, which has qualified for the third round of Germany’s Cup.

Saturday’s match is expected to be one of the most important conditions of the season in Germany. Both teams are invincible in Bundesliga and have seventeen points, but Bayern Munich tops the sign thanks to the best goals.

Bayerni scored twenty-five goals in seven championship matches, while Dortmund achieved twelve.

Kovac has highly praised the opponent, but believes his team may have the opportunity to get a positive result.

It’s classisker and, after a long time, we can play a game where we’re even. This makes coping more interesting but not easier. Bayern is the golden standard, not only in Germany, but also in Europe, Dortmund’s coach has declared. We may have an opportunity this time to turn the fight in our favor, but, as I said, it won’t be easy.
