Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development Minister Armendi Muja hosted today the ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany in Kosovo, Rainer Rudolph, with which they discussed the importance of bilateral co-operation and possibilities for deepening the partnership in sectors of importance for the country’s economic development.

Minister Muja thanked Ambassador Rudolph for the current co-operation and continued support of Germany, praising the importance of partnership between the two countries in advancing the agriculture sector and rural development in Kosovo.

At this meeting, it was stressed that co-operation with the Federal Republic of Germany represents an important opportunity for advancing the agriculture sector in Kosovo, through exchange of experiences, expertise and support of initiatives aimed at modernising agricultural production, increasing competitiveness and sustainable rural development.

Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development Ministry remains committed to strengthening co-operation with international partners, aimed at creating new opportunities for farmers, developing local production and advancing the agricultural sector in Kosovo
