Ginny: Kosovo has benefited from returning Special Law to Parliament

The head of Alenaca, Ardian Gjini, has declared that Kosovo has neither benefited in tactical, strategic or legal terms from the return of the Law to Specialised Chambers, at the request of the Democratic Party of Kosovo ( PDK).

At a news conference, Djind has indicated that the Alliance has opposed the return of the review law. He has demanded that, in addition to this issue, public attention be focused on other problems that, according to him, are burdening the lives of citizens and damaging the state of Kosovo.

I know it’s public interest the law, the Alliance has been against returning the law to the Parliament. We don’t think that Kosovo has acquired anything either Tactically or strategically or legally. We’ll make more decisions. But, please, we can’t afford to forget all the topics that weigh the lives of citizens every day and that are degrading the entire state of Kosovo. By damaging our country to the core, only with a feeling that someone has taken up another subject and is forgetting the essential themes. It is a very important matter of law, for Kosovo, for the future of Kosovo, but I am confident that our country will not dare to take the focus away from other topics, he said, Online Economy.

Djind has criticised Government, claiming that the debate over the Specialised Chambers Law is overshadowing other problems and drawing attention away from issues that, according to him, require urgent treatment.

I have to deal with everything because it’s some form of government feeling comfortable. As long as we’re all on one subject, which they’ve been doing for seven to eight years, they haven’t even dealt with. They are feeling very comfortable as they have completely covered the corrupt, kleptocratic system in Kosovo, on another topic. Other subjects have to be dealt with. We dare not forget what will happen in Kosovo, because these are also connected to ourselves. We can’t even get diplomacy right if we spend 260 million euros on electricity. And our embassy in Washington doesn’t have enough, nor does it pay someone a coffee. I’m literally talking, Jean said.

It has linked the economic and energy situation to the functioning of Kosovo’s diplomacy, claiming that annual expenditures on electricity import are limiting the state’s ability to support other institutions, including the embassy in Washington.
