Ukraine Embassy: Russia must be punished for crimes, including killing civilians

The Ukraine Embassy in Montenegro has called on international partners to step up pressure on Russia and strengthen support for Ukraine’s defence, warning of intensifying attacks on civilians in recent months.

In a post on the social network X, the embassy has stated that millions of people have suffered the consequences of crimes attributed to Russia since the beginning of the invasion, including the murder of civilians, the torture and execution of prisoners of war, as well as the removal of Ukrainian children from their families.

According to the statement, the attacks have destroyed entire areas and cities, while hospitals, schools, universities, cafes, shops, and children’s gardens have also been targeted.

Russia must receive a clear signal that its crimes will not go unpunished, the embassy has stressed, urging international partners to follow with concrete measures.
