Democratic League of Kosovo MP Armend Zemaj has warned that the protests will force Government to take responsibility and step down, following the assassination of Arlinda Zekaj in Vitomirica of Pec.
The LDK has sought responsibility from Interior Minister Jalal Svecla, and Justice Minister Donika Grovall, for what it describes as an institutional failure in Zekij’s case.
Zemaj has stated that, despite efforts to postpone the account, the civic reaction would force representatives of the government to take responsibility.

Arlinda Zekaj was killed with axes from her former host, who continues to be on the run. Meanwhile, her former husband is in custody, as he had earlier passed on the deceased.
The case has prompted numerous reactions, as Zekij had repeatedly addressed justice institutions, seeking help and protection.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Albin Kurti has indicated that he expects that within 72 hours the relevant ministries to submit a detailed report on the occasion and possible institutional failures.
