Despite the agreement reached today between the Pristina municipality and the union for resolving the strike issue, parents of primary and high school students {Ismail Kemalı in Pristina have decided tomorrow to boycott the education process.
The decision was made by the School Parents’ Council, in response to the hygieno-sanitary situation and the lack of a concrete solution to the cleaning and maintenance of the school object.

In a statement to parents, the Council has announced that the boycott will be held on Friday, November 6, 2026, inviting all parents not to send their children to school.
According to them, the agreement reached between the union and the municipality is no guarantee that cleaning services will resume immediately and that students will have adequate hygiene conditions.
Parents have also expressed concern over reported cases of allergic reactions to children who have sought recognition from competent health authorities.
They have stressed that they are not against developing the education process and that they respect the rights and demands of workers on strike, but require that learning be developed in a clean and secure environment.
The Parents’ Council has called on the Pristina Community, the Education Directorate and the responsible institutions to intervene immediately, make full school cleanup and ensure a sustainable solution to its maintenance.
The health of our children is not negotiable, says the message of our parents. /Telegraphy/
