The Vetevendosje Movement Centre in Pristina has handed over to the Special Material Prosecution and a conviction concerning two public lighting contracts in the capital, which it claims could have caused damage to the municipality’s budget.

The news has revealed the VV’s asmblists’ chief in Pristina, Gzim Svecla, who has said doubts relate to price differences in the same positions and jobs.

According to him, the first contract was signed in July 2024, and the second in April 2025.

Svecla has claimed changes in the prices of the same positions have raised doubts about possible abuses, so the material and the VV findings have been handed over to the Special Prosecutor.

We are convinced that there is evidence and evidence that is involved in an abusive contract, where the Pristina municipality budget is damaged, Svechla has declared.

He has demanded that the prosecution handle the case and clear it to the end, adding that if the claims are confirmed, the responsible must render an account.
