Seasonal flu vaccine continues. About a thousand of the 55 thousand registered citizens are immune so far.
The greatest interest is in the elderly and chronically ill.
It’s mandatory for health care workers. According to authorities, there are expected to be 25 thousand additional doses by mid-November, with a tendency for the number of immune persons to reach 800,000.
Early next month, the vaccine of newborns with BCG against tuberculosis should also continue, which was halted due to the suspicious quality with the series by the Bulgarian manufacturer.
The immunization will now be conducted with vaccines from Japan, which were purchased by competent authorities.
