At the memorial ceremony organised by the British Embassy in Pristina in honour of those who served and lost their lives in armed conflicts were reminded of British soldiers who died in Kosovo.
At the beginning of the ceremony, in a prayer, 10 British soldiers were remembered, through which it was said I look up to the mountains where my help comes from? My help comes from God, who created heaven and earth.

After that, poetry was read on the land of Fland, where we are the dead. Just a few days ago,
We lived, felt the dawn, watched the sunset, loved, and loved, and now rest in the fields of Fland.
Then these soldiers were reminded, and after several prayers, flowers were placed at the Lapidari of the fallen British soldiers in Kosovo, where it started with Britain’s ambassador to Pristina, Jonathan Hargreeves. Later, the president, Justina Shiroka Pula, Defence Minister Ejup Macedonia and Union Jashari from the KSF.
Meanwhile, Mary Ann Hennessey, head of the Council of Europe’s Office in Kosovo through a prayer, said the coming wisdom from above is first of all pure, then peaceable, gentle, ready to release sweet, full of mercy and good fruits, without any trace of partiality or hypocrisy.
Finally, the event ended with this prayer, Lord, grant us peace. Lord of truth and justice, before Thee, we give loving remembrance to those whom we keep in our memory, and to those whose names we will never know. Help us see beyond the suffering of this wounded world and grant us the grace to pray for those who want to harm us.
Just as we honor the past, help us to have faith in the future that You promise us because you are the source of life and hope now and forever. /kp/
