The protest, organised by the Council of Thoughts and Feminist Action, began from the square Zahir Pajazitiı, to continue towards the Government of Kosovo.

 We want dismissals, we want detentions…

Protesters’ demands are currently not limited to political resignations. They demand the dismissal of officials who have been involved in handling the case, full investigation and prosecution for all those allegedly neglecting Arlinda’s calls for help.

Determine Minister of Justice and Minister of Internal Affairs! We demand that childicide be treated as national emergency! We’re looking for social residence insurance for survivors of domestic violence!

Citizens have continued the march before the Kosovo Judiciary Council as well. For protesters, the Arlinda case is not only a requirement for justice for a victim but also a requirement for changing the way institutions react to domestic violence and protect women’s lives.

Justice protests for Arlinda Zekaj have also expanded to Peja in Mitrovica, where citizens marched before the institutions responsible. The Feminian movement has warned that the mobilization will continue in the coming days, until the meeting of the requirements.
