Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho has expressed his dissatisfaction with the busy match calendar, stressing the difficulties football players are facing because of frequent trips and short periods of recovery.
At the press conference prior to the match with Racing Santander, the Portuguese criticised the timing of three matches his team will host within just seven days.

We should play tomorrow, but we play today. We had to play Sunday in Valencia, but we play on Saturday. Three games of three trips in seven days, two days less to recover, Mourinho said.
Ironically, he described this situation as a great gift.
It’s a big gift we’re getting. Thank you. We hope to make them sad, the coach added.
Real Madrid will face Racing Santander on Sunday, November 1st, under La League. The meeting will take place at El Sardinero Stadium, starting at 16:15.
