The case of the assassination of Arlinda Zekiaj has highlighted other serious stories of domestic violence.

A woman, who has chosen to remain anonymous, has confessed on the show Rubikon in Kosovo on physical and psychological violence she claims to have experienced from her husband, with whom they lived in Canada.

In a telephone call, she showed that violence began in 2021 after the birth of her second child.

Her husband had also been physically violent during pregnancy, and drug use had been a major family problem.

He’s been practicing violence against me, breaking his mouth during pregnancy. Drug use was one of the worst things. Pressure I’ve always had… She confessed.

The woman claimed that as a result of the violence, she had suffered serious bodily injuries, indicating that in 2021 she had remained nine months in the hospital.

I’ve had physical violence, body injuries, nine months in the hospital in 2021. I stayed in the hospital because it didn’t give me any food or drink. Even her mother-in-law worked with her, She said.

The victim announced that he had also presented the case in Canada, citing the use of drugs, possession of weapons, and physical violence. The show also released photos and recordings of body injuries, which, according to her, had been caused by beatings with a metal rod.

Every part of the body… I’ve also wanted to commit suicide, She confessed by describing the serious emotional state she had been in.

Currently, the woman is in Kosovo. She related that for eight years she had been able to visit her family only three times, since she felt that her husband did not allow her to come to her homeland.

This time free will has left me because I’ve taken him for granted. I even dropped the suit, just to let me come, She confessed.

She added that her family had not been aware of the violence she had experienced all this time. Only after arriving in Kosovo and family members saw what had happened had they asked her to stop returning to Canada with her husband, praising that this was not safe for her and her children.

Meanwhile, she said that the judge had told her to return to Canada with the children, even though she said that children are said to be well and comfortable and are reluctant to go to their father and that they have claimed to want to stay with Mom. She said she’s hired.

I’m afraid I can kill children. I’m in danger… She said.
