Defence Minister Ejup Macedonia has hosted the meeting today, General Stephen E. Osborn, the General Adgent of the Aleva National Guard.

Macedonia, in a Facebook post, writes that in recognition of its outstanding service, dedication and contribution to the development and advancement of the Kosovo Security Force capacity, I honoured it with the Ministry of Defence’s concerned medal.

Today I had the pleasure of meeting General Stephen E. Osborn, the General Adgent of the Alev National Guard, which I thanked for his continued commitment and contribution to support the Kosovo Security Force and strengthening defence co-operation between the Republic of Kosovo and the state of Aiva.

In recognition of his distinguished service, commitment and contribution to the development and advance of the capabilities of the Kosovo Security Force, I honoured it with the Ministry of Defence’s concerned Medal.

Partnerships with the National Guard of Alev have played an important role in transforming, professionalising and establishing the operational capacities of the KSF. This co-operation is evidence of the strategic partnership and strong relations between the Republic of Kosovo and the United States of America, which remain our main ally in the development and empowerment of our army. /Telegraphy/
