The Constitutional Court in Pec has scheduled a month of detention for Liton Sylajt, former husband of Arlinda Zekinaj, who was killed on 25 October in Vitomirica in Pec.
According to the Court’s report, the detention measure is scheduled after the request by the Pajë Constitutional Prosecutor, under suspicion of committing the criminal act, the contempt of the court.
The prosecution’s request has been approved by the Pre-Plain Procedure Judge Selvije Morina Zamenaj, who has decided that the detention will last from October 25th to 8:00, until November 24, 2026, at 8:00.
Against this act, the parties are entitled to complaint within 48 hours of his admission. The complaint is addressed to the Court of Appeals through the Constitutional Court in Pec.
