Ernest Mutch’s story in Turkish football is taking a big turn. What started with much expectation of Besiktasi, but later turned into a difficult period for the Albanian attacker, is ending up in a story of resurrection of Trabzonspori.

Crossing a new club seems to have given Muchi what was missing: trust, space to show qualities and continuity in the playing field. For a footballer who had come to Turkey with great ambition but who failed to demonstrate his potential always, this period could be crucial to his career.

His recovery began as early as 2025/26, when he left Besiktasi, and joined Trabzonspor in the form of a loan, with access to purchase. At the new club, Muchi did not need much time to convince the leaders that he could be one of the most important players in the team.
