In his message, Macro has conveyed congratulations on the new task, voicing confidence that her choice will contribute to the restoration of progress in areas of importance for Kosovo’s European integration.

The French president has also cited traditional reports between the two states, recalling meeting with Prime Minister Albin Kurti in Paris in March of this year.

Macron has also praised the Frenchly delegated minister for Europe’s visit to Kosovo during July, which was followed by the signing of new co-operation agreements between the two countries.

In his letter to the president of Kosovo, the head of the French state has also placed special emphasis on the process of normalising relations between Kosovo and Serbia.

He has reconfirmed France’s support for the dialogue mediated by the European Union, underlining the importance of this process for the region’s stability and European perspective.
