The film Kung Fu Deadlyı, directed by Fergal Costello, brings an unusual combination of comedy, horror and martial arts, following the story of two cleaners in Dublin who face a supernatural evil.
The main roles are Steven He and Michael Titus, who perform Danny and Frank, two characters involved in an unusual adventure, far from their everydayity.

It took some 20 years for this project to be implemented. Screenwriter Paddy McDonald shows that the idea arose from passion for martial arts movies in collaboration with writer Paul Markey.
The serious development of the project began in 2011 when McDonald lived in Australia. After returning to Ireland, he decided to rewrite the scenario thoroughly, to give the film an authentic Irish identity.
Director Costello and Kinding-Fung Cheung describe the visual style of the film as a combination of basic colors with a crushed image. According to the director, this approach also reflects the journey of the character Danny, who must face doubts about himself.
There has also been an important role in the realisation of the film as well as chemistry between two protagonists, which has helped preserve the coherence of confession despite the combination of various sands.
In addition to its content, Kung Fu Deadly was noted for its ecological way of making it. It is the first film in Ireland that has been fully enabled by fuel cells with green hydrogen, replacing the use of diesel during production.
The film has already been presented at international fairies, including the Fantastic Fest in Austin and Sitges Film Festival in Spain. Meanwhile, its broader distribution is scheduled for next spring.
