Former Kosovo Parliament President Rzazarta Krasniqi has demanded that Arlinda Zekiaj’s letter be placed at any institution in the Republic of Kosovo, along with the President’s photograph, as a reminder of the institutional failure to protect women.
Krasniqi has said Arlinda’s letter, according to her, reflects more clearly than ever the institutional misery and state failure to ensure women’s safety.
According to her, the move would have to serve as a call for awareness of every security institutions official before taking any action or decision, especially in cases where women’s lives are at stake.
