Kosovo Electricity Distribution Company ( KEDS has warned planned power outages in several areas of Kosovo, due to energy safety and maintenance works.

Under schedule published for Wednesday, November 4th, disruptions in some areas are expected to last up to 10 hours.

Among the regions involved are Pristina, Peja, Prizren, Ferizaj, Gjakova and Gjilan.

Pristina

In Arberia neighbourhood, parts will remain without electricity from 0900 to 1600 because of network conversion operations from 10kV to 20kV.

The breakup has also been warned on the Trima Hill, between 8:00 and 6:00, depending on the area, and on Kukes Street from 09: 00 p.m. to 1600.

At Uglar, the suspension is scheduled from 10:00 to 2:00.

Without electricity, Sibofci, Luzhan, Penuha, Lupchi of Epper, Lluga, Majaci, and Popova are expected to remain.

In parts of Gracanica and surrounding areas, interruptions between 10:00 and 1600 have been warned.

Pec

In Gurrakoc, Prekalle, Trubohoc, Zablaq, Zalq, Osojan and several other municipalities, disruptions are planned from 0800 to 14:00.

Meanwhile, in parts of the Ahmet Krasniqi and Hysni Rama streets, electricity will be cut from 10:00 to 1300.

Prizren

In Lubish, Korishh, Lutoglava, New Mountain, Studencan, Veles, Recan, and several other areas, disruptions are planned from 0900 to 14:00.

In several villages of Dragasi, including Restelica, Mlica, Globocica and Krushevo, disruptions are expected between 10:00 and 2:00.

The break will be in Mamusa, Leshan, Neprebish, and localities from 0900 to 2: 00 p.m.

Ferizaj

In Bablak, Babush, Meash, Surqina, Tarn, Rubofc and several other municipalities, disruptions are planned from 10:00 to 1500.

In Kacanic and several surrounding villages, disruptions are expected between 09:30 and 2: 00 p.m.

Bloodovous

At Bellacreke, Sapniq and Fort, disruptions are planned from 0900 to 5.00.

Meanwhile, on several streets in the city of Gjakova, including Hysni Dobruna, Freedom Witnesses, Ishmael Qymajli, Martin Camaj, Skenderbeu and Migeni, the disruptions are preceded from 0900 to 1600.

Gjilan

In Kamenica and several surrounding villages, including Sterzic, Recanin, Hajnoci, Krileva and Kremetare, disruptions are planned between 10:00 and 2:00.

In the town of Gjilan, parts of Dardania, Pristina, Mother Teresa, NATO, Becir Musliu and other roads will remain without electricity from 0900 to 1500.

KEDS has indicated that disruptions are necessary for preventative maintenance, elimination of identified defects and implementation of investment projects on the electrical network.
