The images from inside of Ald Trafford have revealed Michael Carrick’s reaction to the actions of Matthews Cunhas, following Manchester United’s spectacular victory over Rome in the Champions League.
Manchester United experienced a dramatic evening Tuesday, overturning the two-year disadvantage suffered in the first 14 minutes and triumphing over Rome. This victory ended the weak series without club triumphs, but the party was accompanied by a moment of tension between coach Carrick and the Brazilian assailant.

Cunha was one of the main protagonists of the overthrow, along with Captain Bruno Fernandes, who carried out a penalty to narrow the outcome to 2-1. Brazil scored two goals, which eventually resulted in decisive victory for the Red Days.
Cunha’s first goal came in the 83rd minute, while only three minutes later he achieved the winning goal. After a spectacular blow, the assailant took off his fanella and celebrated with fans at Old Tuffford Tributes.
However, this action cost them a yellow card. Cunha later received the second yellow card after a recent intervention against Leonardo Balerd, being punished with red card.
Despite the exception, Brazil remained in the stadium to attend the rest of the match. After its completion, he again entered the field to celebrate success with his fellow players and fans.
But his party did not last long. The images show Carrick, who clearly became frustrated, catching Cunhan and asking him to leave the field immediately. The attacker stepped down frustrated, while the rest of the team continued celebrations of great victory.
The coach’s reaction seems to be linked to the unnecessary red card of Cunhas, which may affect Manchester United’s upcoming matches. /Telegraph/
