Iran has declared it can reopen Hormuz Strait within two days if the United States of America accepts conditions imposed by Tehran.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei said Monday that implementing the plan within this deadline would prove Iran’s approach with confidence.

The possibility of implementing this plan within two days is another indicator of Iran’s trustful approach, Baghai said.
He added that meeting Tehran’s requirements would enable the return of security in the straits and the resumption of negotiations in a short time.
According to him, exchange of messages with Washington is continuing through mediators, while the decision depends on accepting Iranian demands from the American side.
Tehran’s conditions include ending the war on all fronts, unlocking Iranian assets abroad, removing sanctions on the oil sector, and ending the US naval blockade on Iranian ports.
Initially, Iran had proposed a seven-day deadline for reopening the strait when it presented the plan to Washington through Qatar in September.
