The Constitutional Prosecutor in Gjilan has sought custody of B.D., suspected of killing 27-year-old and 3-month-old babies.

According to the prosecution’s announcement, the victims are A.D., 27, and D.D., a 3-month-old baby, and suspect B.D. It’s victim A.D.’s father.

In co-operation with the Kosovo Police, the Directorate for Investigation of Organised Crime and Serious Crime, announces the public opinion that by the date of 02.11.2026, about 9:00 a.m., the Kosovo Police in Gjilan has been announced by the State Prosecutor, that in the village of Demajj, the municipality of Gjilani, a serious murder case, where the victims are A.D. (27 years) and D. D. (Monk 3 months), where suspect B.D., the father of the A.D. victim, has been detained for 48 hours.

It is therefore known that all relevant police teams, as well as the State Prosecutor, have emerged at the scene, with the aim of clarifying the case.

Between the legal deadlines, the Penal Procedure Code, the Constitutional Prosecutorship in Gjilan, today, with the date of November 02th, 2026, has submitted a request for the appointment of a pre-prisonment move, to the Constitutional Court in Gjilan, the Department of Serious Crimes against the defendants with the B.D. initials, under suspicion of committing a serious crime murder by Article 173 of the Kosovo Criminal Code. The Constitutional Prosecutor in Gjilan, in co-ordination with the Police of the Republic of Kosovo, has undertaken and will take all investigative actions, with the aim of full and fair lighting of the actual situation, the report said. /Telegraphy/
