A information provided by police has led to the discovery of five firearms, ammunition and other equipment at a barn in the village of Klecca in Zubin Potok. Among the weapons found was a Yugoslav auto-production with a serial number damaged, while the person allegedly linked to them was not found during the police intervention.
Signal Gazette sources suggest the suspected person is Bogomir LukovicA 67-year-old man who has not been found at home during the search conducted by police units.
The event took place on Saturday, October 31st, around 15:10, when the Police’s Speed Response Unit in the north, acting on the basis of information, has gone to the village of Kletchka.
During the barn’s search, police have discovered several weapons of various types placed inside the facility.
Among them was an automatic weapon of Yugoslav production with a number of damaged serials, as well as a Russian hunting rifle, without a serial number.
In addition, a semiutomatic hunting rifle, a two – story hunting rifle, and a TT – type gun have been found with an empty clip.
At the same location, 33 rounds for long guns, two hollow clips for long arms, one cap with optics, two short arms gloves and weapons-holding equipment.
Following the discovery, units of the Police Station in Zubin Potok and North Mitrovica regional investigators have seized weapons, ammunition and other items.
A certificate allegedly belongs to Bogomir Lukovic has also been found during police actions.
However, he was not found at home and, until that stage of police action, his statement had not been taken.
Regarding the discovery, the State Prosecutor has been announced, who has directed the initiative of the case for criminal work in possession, control or unauthorized possession of weapons.
Weapons ownership and their connection to the suspected person has not yet been determined.
Investigations continue to clear up the circumstances of the case.
