Democratic League of Kosovo MP ( The LDK), Hykmete Bajrami, has criticised the Kurti Government for lack of realisation of major capital projects and low budget spending planned for investment.
Through a Facebook post, Bajrami has raised questions about projects completed during Kurti’s six years of governance, demanding that at least a major capital project realised be mentioned.

Can you name a major capital project completed by Kurti Government? Not a promised project. Not a budgeted project. A completed project, Bajrami wrote.
It has claimed that, despite billions of euros in budgets, many infrastructure projects continue to remain unfinished and are transported year-on-year.
According to Bajram, the streets of Pristina (Pristina) Pristina, Gjajlan, Pristina (Mitrovica), Kijevo Zahaq and Dolc @jakova are among the projects that have not yet been completed.
Bajrami has also stopped at capital investment implementation figures, referring to the Ministry of Finance’s Nine-month Financial Report. It has said that by the end of September 2026, 376.85m euros have been realised from planned 998.4m euros, or about 37 per cent of the annual budget.
According to her, 82.11m euros from the amount registered as capital expenditures are payment for judicial decisions.
So not every euro registered as a capital spending represents capital investment on the ground, she noted.
The LDK MP has also criticised investment planning for 2027, citing some projects which, according to her, have been set aside insufficient means or have not been budgeted at all.
Among the projects he has mentioned are the Pristina Ring, the DuhdhlBalle Street, the Dukagjini Road and the construction of dams.
She has also mentioned 23 nests that, according to her, figure in the 2027-euro budget shared for that year.
In her response, Bajrami has also criticised the number of single-source contracts, saying that 2,913 such contracts have been linked during this government.
In the end, the MP has asked for more responsibility in managing public money.
) Kosovo needs investments, not propaganda. There is a need for a government that can turn public money into economic development and prosperity for citizens, Bajrami wrote.
It has completed the response, saying a government’s success is not measured by promises, but with projects and investments realised. /Telegraphy/
